Longitudinal profiles and cross sections of natural terrain. Configurable data in profiles with more than 30 criteria distribution along and across a path. Data in profiles with over 40 content available and fully customizable. Volume calculation by a self-adjusting mesh. Volume calculation by comparative cross sections. Generation and interactive volume calculation of platforms and landfills. Multiple views (2D, longitudinal, cross sections) fully interactive with each other. Longitudinal profile and Cross Section views

  • Longitudinal profile of the natural terrain: Along a plan layout a longitudinal profile by one or more terrain models is obtained.
  • Cross sections of natural terrainAlong a plan layout a series of cross sections by one or more terrain models are obtained. You can configure several profiles in the same view that can be printed printed or exported (DWG/DXF) with the desired order.

Distribución longitudinal y transversal de datos

  • Longitudinal distribution: Data can be generated along a path with multiple configurable criteria, including:

    • Central axis.
    • Singular points of the cross section template.
    • Multiple equidistance.
    • Slope change.
    • Singular points, close to the cross section.
    • Affected services, graphical entities intersected by the cross section.

Contents of the data area

  • Longitudinal Contents: You can display various configurable data, including:
    • Profile identifier.
    • Kilometric point, short or long.
    • Absolute, relative and 3D distances.
    • Heights of the ground, vertical alignment, template, singular point or affected service.
    • Height difference with its sign, or only if positive or only if negative; multiple height differences can be used in the same profile.
    • Singular point identifier.
    • Affected service name.
    • Graphical band with curvature diagram.
    • Graphical band with superelevations diagram.
    • Graphical band with projected cartography in a width.
  • Transversal Contents You can display various configurable data, including:
    • Profile identifier.
    • Kilometric point, short or long.
    • Absolute, relative and 3D distances.
    • Heights of the ground, template, certification height, minimum or maximum height, singular point or affected service.
    • Height difference with its sign, or only if positive or only if negative; multiple height differences can be used in the same profile.
    • Singular point identifier.
    • Affected service name.
    • Surface between two levels and, if desired, by type of soil.
    • Surface of soil improvement.
    • Surface of normal vegetation cover, in soil improvement or all.
    • Volume between two levels and, if desired, by type of soil.
    • Volume of soil improvement.
    • Volume of normal vegetation cover, in soil improvement or all.
    • Graphical band with projected cartography in a width.
  • Positioning: The text can be positioned individually, grouped or between other data and, in the case of transverse profile on the outside of the data area.
  • Vertical lines: Vertical lines positioning in profile can be configured and extended to the height of the ground, grade, template, height of certification, minimum or maximum template height, singular point or affected service.
  • Selection: You can select certain data are displayed only at some types of distribution.
  • Drawing priority: CARTOMAP saving you hours of delineation avoiding overlapping data automatically. You can choose the priority of each data type. This is done in real time according to zoom and scale levels.

Volume calculation

  • Volume calculation by a self-adjusting mesh: Volume calculation in a given area without profiling. With storage of the mesh pattern and differential points that validates the calculation.
  • Volume calculation by comparative cross sections: For example, volume calculation between the current situation and the existent the previous month, that can even be stored on a different project as an external terrain model.

Generation and interactive volume calculation of Platforms and Landfills.

  • Definition of the platform or landfill base: You can define it by an height, by one point and two slopes, by three points or by a point cloud.
  • Slopes: You can specify the desired cut and fill slopes.
  • Platform or landfill model: The QUADs are generated with the base and slopes indicated.
  • Volume calculation: The earthwork resulting from the projected work is generated.
  • Interactive adjustment: You can modify any parameter and observe the resulting geometry and the earthwork in real time.

Multiple interactive views

  • Multiple view with profiles: It can include views of longitudinal and transversal profiles with other plan views, operating with one or more monitors.
  • Interactive views: Moving the cursor over the plan view you can see the projected position in the longitudinal profile and also in the transversal profile that can be updated in real time at the exact distance.
  • CAD on multiple view: For example, you can select on the view 2D only the XY and the Z on the longitudinal or transversal profile.

Reports

  • General reports: Of points along and across a path, etc.
  • Earthwork reports: Volume calculation by self-adjusting mesh and by comparative cross sections.

Graphical Outputs

  • Inclusion of profiles: In the integrated output, longitudinal and transverse profiles can be added.
  • Printing of PDF/DWG/DXF in multiple sheets or files: The outputs with cross sections can generate several sheets, or files, with each grouped profiles.
